The Book Whisperer ~ An incredible read. I love how each book highlights one romance, but there is some much about beginnings and continuations of the romances prior. Reyes is one exceptional author; that offers story packed full of hot and steamy romance.
Reading Eating and Dreaming ~ I love this series! Elizabeth Reyes continues to impress me by keeping her stories relatable, sexy and entertaining.

Relatively halfway decent book. However there were times I had to force myself to keep reading. I really didn't like how the heroine and her best friend/roommate kept discussing and analyzing the past behavior of the hero and deciding that lying to him was the best way to go. Granted the hero made a stupid move to let the heroine think he had cheated on her rather than telling her the truth of what was going on. Her lying made everything worse than it would have been if she had not lied to begin with. It's almost like she's continually punishing him for what happened in the past after forgiving him and getting back together; not to mention they both had a part in all the nonsense in the past (not clearly communicating, making assumptions, and jumping to conlcusions). Then she acts totally oblivious to the seriousness of her deranged stalker. KNOWING her stalker had been in jail for threatening his wife with a knife - she even freaks out and is in tears when she discovers he's been released from prison. Yet, when he starts contacting and threatening her, she doesn't make a point to get a restraining order. She treats the situation as though he's basically harmless and her boyfriend (hero) is overreacting ....... SERIOUSLY ..... she gives women a bad rep. I sincerely hope women in the real world don't act like her. This book is a lesson in how not to communicate with your partner.

This series is about 3 brothers and the girls they are interested in. This brother seems to have to bear the responsibility of the family's restaurant all by himself. Injured in a football game his football career was over. He lost his scholarship and was having trouble with his studies. So, he has backed out of school taking one course at a time on-line. His younger brother has already finished his 4 years and is about to marry. His was the first book FOREVER MINE.
The first one was a teen romance and all that that entails. Typical high school stuff. This one is not a lot different. They are now 4 years later and still acting like high school kids. The hero and his love, Valarie, are currently on the outs. She is now running a successful real estat3e company. But, she goes out with an employee, drinks too much, makes out in the parking lot, then regrets it all. Not sure how the guy is going to react from this point. It is just personal but I have zero patience with a person that drinks too much and then can't function. Can'[t stand it.
I'm afraid I had to quit on this one. These characters are just too young for me. The hero and heroine have a big fight and end things. She was upset the way he was treating her however, after every event she went running back to him. As Dr. Phil says, You teach people how to treat you. Why should he act any different? She never said anything to him she just had fights with him in her head. Finally she is going to end it all. She never takes 5 minutes to sit down and have a conversation with him about what is going on. Had she done that, she would have discovered that he was flunking out of college and he needed help, he had financial problems because he lost his scholarship, etc. She just acted high school to me. I think this series would be good for a teen audience. It just didn't work for me. I loved the cover!
Gosh!!! Valerie really made me angry. She was no longer a teen in this book but Lord she shure acted as naive as most teens. She was just annoying and frustrating with the lack of common sense she had.
The whole time I was pretty shure Luke was going to be Bruce's accomplice but I was wrong. So good job on fooling me Elizabeth.
One thing I do have to say, the Moreno brothers will always be freaking hot with their way of showing their love. They protect what they love, even though it may seem a little to crazy at times, it's still really hot.
Overall the book was not at all what I thought it was going to be with the stalker theme of it. But it was a good twist.
I LOVED Forever Mine. I have reread it several times, so I was super excited to read Valerie's story. Valerie and Alex's story is more intense than Angel and Sarah's . The gang of friends have grown up, and they are in the real world now. Valerie is still trying to get over breaking up with Alex after she thinks she catches him cheating. A year later, when Angel and Sarah get married, Alex and Valerie are thrown together again. The sparks are still there and neither one has gotten over the other. They both work on getting over their own trust issues while moving forward with their relationship. I expected this aspect of the book but was pleseantly suprised by the stalker side plot. This helps move the plot along and adds some nonromance related tension.
Overall, I liked this novel. Alex is an awesome obsessive/possessive alpha male. I got annoyed with them both for their poor communication skills after awhile, but overall it was still good. The editing was not so good. The previous novel had a few issues, but this one seemed to have more. I normally don't really care, but there were several mistakes that made me stop and have to reread sentences. Having said that, I still really like this novel, and I am really glad that I bought it. I look forward to buying the next installment to this series.
